There was a little hesitation about swapping perfectly good handlebars for something entirely new, an unfamiliar shape with (a little) more weight and a ride into the unknown. One ride on the Coefficient RR handlebars, however, was enough to convince me that there’s merit in the quest for “metabolic and ventilatory efficiency”. If your blood flow is better, then performance improves. That, it seems, is the theory behind this rethink of the traditional handlebar shape.
