The front camera and the interior camera are placed on one module, which is detachable from the mounting base. This is very convenient if, let's say, you want to hide the camera, so that it doesn't get stolen, while your car is parked in some unfriendly neighbourhood. The front camera shoots in 4K resolution (3840x2160) 170°, while the interior camera and the back camera are shooting in full HD resolution (1920x1080) 150°. There is a big 3 inch screen, which you can use to operate the camera. You can also connect the camera with your smartphone, tablet, or in my case, the Android multimedia, which I have added as an upgrade on my car. The dash cam uses wifi and a special app, called GKU GO, in order to connect to your smart devices. The dashboard camera uses a micro SD card to record the footage on (a 64GB memory card is included in the package). The 4K dash cam has a built-in GPS, which tracks your routes. It has an emergency button and when you press it, the camera locks the footage, so that it doesn't get overwritten. Same thing happens when you hit something, or something hits you, since the dashboard camera has a collision sensor. The dash cam is powered by the 12V power socket (cigarette lighter) of your car, but I have powered it from my multimedia. For that purpose I needed to get a new cable (USB A to USB C) and modify it a little bit, as you can see in the video. The GKU D1000 dash cam also offers a 24 hour parking mode, which means it records non-stop, acting as a security camera.
