Tyler was able to secure an elk tag in New Mexico, on private ground months ago and it’s finally here. Join us on this adventure as we hunt for bull elk as they transition to their winter range. Tyler made a perfect shot from 338 yards with his Browning X-Bolt chambered in 6.8 Western, dropping the bull dead within seconds of being hit. The rifle used in the hunt/video was custom dipped in the Ridge Reaper - Barren Ground camo. He’s shooting the 175 grain Sierra tipped GameKing bullets. Tyler’s rifle was put together by ALR (Affordable Long Range) in Southern Utah. Steve Monk is the owner/operator of that business and does an incredible job with his rifle and treats his clients with honesty and respect. This is the second rifle that I have seen of his and both are serious shooters. He does a fantastic job and is very personable.
