The Amazing Spider-Man [54] Xbox 360 Longplay

The Amazing Spider-Man is a 2012 open-world action game and the events in the game occur shortly after the events of the film of the same name. Months after Dr. Connor's is incarcerated, Peter and Gwen sneak into the restricted parts of Oscorp after hours to investigate the rumors that Connor's cross-species experiments were continuing. After the cross species escape and start infecting the lab staff and soon the town, Peter breaks Connors out of Beloit Psychiatrics Hospital to help find a cure. The first round of this cure was faulty and caused Oscorp's new director Alistair Smythe to be paralyzed from the waist down and loose his sanity. Smythe blames Spider-Man for all the events and unleashes his Spider Slayer robots against him and plans to viscously attack the virus with his nanobots which potentially would kill the host as well to prevent the spread. Dr. Connor's realizes Spider-Man's DNA is the key component to defeat the virus and while he's making it, Spider-Man stops Rhino, Scorpion, and recaptures Felicia Hardy aka Black Cat during her bank robbery. Then Spider-Man is injected by Smythe with his nanobot "cure" while rescuing a captured Dr. Connor's from him and loses his power. Connor's then injects himself with his Lizard formula to stop Smythe and Spider-Man electrocutes himself to fry the nanobots to regain his powers. They defeat Smythe and Connor's is overtaken by the Lizard's consciousness. Spider-Man defeats him and cures the Lizard. The cross-species cure is administered across the city and a remorseful Smythe kills himself with his own Hunter bot.
