Fallen Hero's

A visit to two aircraft crash sites in the western area of the Brecon Beacons National Park, on a cold day. Mynydd Du is a fantastic wild area of mountains which sadly contain a number of aircraft crash sites particularly sites dating back to WW2. The first site is quite remote and not easy to find below the northern slopes of Fan Foel is a Lancaster bomber site where there is quite a lot of wreckage. (I have put the Grid Ref number on the video for those wishing to visit the site). The second aircraft crash site i visit on this walk is that of an American Liberator Bomber which is another WW2 crash site located on top of Moel Feity not far from the to of the Trecastle Road. There is some wreckage spread on the top but not much and its difficult to find. In memory of the fallen Hero's.
