India is going to test Kush Defense System, America gave its satellite | India Test Kush System Project Kusha is one of India’s most advanced and strategic defence programs, developed under the leadership of DRDO to establish a robust, multi-tiered Ballistic Missile Defence (BMD) system. This project is designed to safeguard the nation against a wide spectrum of aerial threats—including enemy fighter jets, cruise missiles, and even long-range ballistic missiles—by intercepting them at various altitudes and ranges before they can reach their targets. At the heart of Project Kusha are state-of-the-art interceptor missiles like AD-1 and AD-2, which are capable of neutralizing threats both inside and outside the Earth’s atmosphere. Complemented by long-range tracking radars, early-warning systems, and a sophisticated command-and-control network, this system forms a highly responsive and layered shield around India’s critical infrastructure, strategic bases, and urban centers. Aligned with the “Atmanirbhar Bharat” mission, Project Kusha not only strengthens India’s military self-reliance but also enhances its position as a regional superpower capable of independently countering high-end threats. Once fully deployed, this project will make India one of the few countries in the world to possess an operational, indigenously built BMD system—dramatically changing the security dynamics of South Asia
