There is a time in a campers life that he has to get off the ground. Yeah, it is fun and exciting as a kid, but when you are a 40-year-old all of a sudden that fun transforms into sore shoulders hips and backs. So I had to find a way to get off the ground and I found a cot that works. and works wonders. That cot is the Coleman Trailhead II Camping Cot. This piece of camping equipment is great. It supports up to 300 pounds so my lard butt is safe from falling through. It is also long enough that a 6' 2" dude is able to sleep without his toes dangling out in the breeze. Spent a few nights on it now and yeah it isn't a Serta sleeper but I feel tons better than if I was on the cold hard floor. Everything is a breeze. It takes less than 3 minutes to put up. There is one thing many people have trouble with and that is putting the last cross member in place. One caveat, You have to use a bit of strength to get it to go into the tab on the end. So many people want to give the Coleman Trailhead II to a young kid for camping. That last cross member might be too tough so they may need some help Is the pad washable? IT is washable but you will have to wash it outdoors. You cant take the mat off of the frame. Well, I can't find a way to take it off. So just put the water hose to it with some dishwashing soap and you should be good. Is the Coleman Trailhead II tent small enough to fit in a tent? Yes, I have put it into Eureka Tetragon HD 3 tent this can hold 3 people. You can fit 2 of these cots in there but that is about it.
