When I was a boy, it was not uncommon to play outside most of the day. There were no cell phones or video games to watch. No boogie man around the corner to be afraid of (at least not of which we were aware). About the worst where I lived was the local prison farm parole. But by suppertime we were all back and having family dinner together. So much has changed since then. But the composer of this song, Ira Stanphill, reminds us that someday it is going to be suppertime in heaven. Are you ready? Will you be there when He calls, "Come home, it's suppertime?"
