The Men in Green will face Zimbabwe in the first of three matches at Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo on Sunday (December 1). Pakistan have already announced their playing XI on the eve of the T20I series opener. Saim Ayub will open the innings along with Omair Yousuf. Mohammad Rizwan has been rested and Agha Salman will captain the side. The visitors are going in with two spinners in Sufiyan Muqeem and Abrar Ahmed. Haris Rauf, Abbas Afridi, and Jahandad Khan are the front-line pacers. Sikandar Raza will captain the T20I side for the hosts. Zimbabwe have kept the same squad that did well in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 sub-regional qualifier in Kenya in October. Zimbabwe removed the senior players from the team after failing to qualify for the T20 World Cup 2024 and they have trusted the youngsters to do the job at home against a quality Pakistan side. The last time these two sides met in the shortest format was at the 2022 T20 World Cup, where Zimbabwe pulled off a historic upset, winning by the narrowest of margins — just 1 run. Which team will start the series on a winning note? To find out, tune in at 3:30 PM IST & 12 PM Local Time on Sunday for its live coverage. Pakistan Squad: Salman Agha (c), Saim Ayub, Omair Yousuf, Usman Khan (wk), Tayyab Tahir, Irfan Khan, Jahandad Khan, Abbas Afridi, Haris Rauf, Abrar Ahmed, Sufiyan Muqeem, Haseebullah Khan, Arafat Minhas, Qasim Akram, Aamer Jamal, Sahibzada Farhan, Mohammad Hasnain Zimbabwe Squad: Ryan Burl, Dion Myers, Tashinga Musekiwa, Sikandar Raza (c), Wessly Madhevere, Tinotenda Maposa, Brian Bennett, Clive Madande (wk), Tadiwanashe Marumani, Wellington Masakadza, Richard Ngarava, Blessing Muzarabani, Trevor Gwandu, Brandon Mavuta, Faraz Akram
