The Impact of Andrew Galambos & the V-50 Lectures

When I was 21, I was introduced by economist John Pugsley to a little-known course called the V-50 Lectures from Professor Andrew J. Galambos. It completely changed my understanding of the history of scientific discovery and what it means to assess all aspects of reality with a scientific worldview, including how to use scientific methodology to solve social problems in ways most people would never consider. Most importantly, it gave me confidence in my ability to determine what’s true, regardless of what people around me happen to think. For 15 years, the V-50 Lectures remained the single most impactful intellectual influence of my life, but it was impossible to find any other published works by Andrew Galambos.
