Created by singer Laura Berens and bassist Scott Mulvahill, Slap Dragon is a bluegrass funk fusion band taking no prisoners and leaving no one behind on the dance floor. We are here to make you move, make you smile, give you awe and joy with equal force, and we want to be your new obsession. To do that, we are bringing our first album Mission Statement into the world, featuring our original songs and our signature sound that we call Groove Grass. But we need your help! Launching October 1st, our goal is to raise $15,000 on Kickstarter. This will help us with all the costs of finishing the album, which include studio time, hiring musicians and audio engineers, artwork, printing vinyl, and more.
