His mother Smt.Nirmala Sharma, devotee of Lord Krishna used to do ‘Kirtans' almost everyday so he got the environment of the spiritual programs from the very early age. He got his eduaction too from New Delhi. At the age of 12, He suffered from high fever due to which he lost his vision. After so many efforts there was nothing which could help him improving his vision. He became blind, after that his journey towards music n tough life began. He completed his Intermediate from CBSE board. Music Background : After getting blind, He started to learn music. His first Guru of music was Sh.Deependra Deepak Sharma ji (Delhi Gharana) then after 5 years he found himself more interested towards Kirana Gharana so, he went to another Guru named Dr.Vijay Rajput Ji (Kirana Gharana) who was one pf the best disciples of Pt.Bhimsen Joshi Ji. Apparently Pt.Bhimsen Joshi is his Dada Guruji. When Dr.Vijay Rajput ji left India and moved to England then Mr.Gagandeep Sharma had no choice except going to another Guru, He visited so many places and finally found a Senior Guru of Kirana Gharana Lt.Pt.Jagdish Mohan Ji who also teached his previous Gurus. So. Pt.Jagdish Mohan Ji was his Guru as well as Dada Guru. He was blessed to have him. He completed his degree in music from ‘Prayag Sangeet Samiti', Prayagraj. He travelled alone most of the times to his classes. Sometimes also experienced unimaginable problems during his way to classes. But he never quit. He always says that ability is hidden in the word ‘Disability'. He purely devoted his life for music and came up with an example for all disabled people as well as for those who are willing to do something in music because there are no boundaries that can stop you if you have determination. Career : He started teaching music at the age of 21 in the year 2008 after taking his Guru's permission. Firstly, He taught in some private schools and also gave home tuitions for music. He also did some cultural and devotional programs before teaching. Then, He started his own music Institute in the year 2008 named after his mother’s name ‘Nirmal Sangeet Sadhna Kendra'. After few months he registered his own music organisation named ‘Swarmayee Society’ under which he started giving free classes to the students who were financially weak or couldn't afford the fee and also there were some specially abled children. His wife chose him for herself even after knowing about his problem. She was also a Krishna devotee and was willing to serve humans. She is a normal perso n wothout any physical disability. His wife is also a Singer n Music teacher and help him in all the way She can. She also manages his Institute and other programs which are held under their Organisation. He has two children A boy and A girl named Antareesh and Adhishtha respectively
