Alistair Kirk's CAS Project

Alistair Kirk, an IB class 2019 student of Tema International School, for his CAS initiative has embarked on a project to build public toilet facilities in his hometown, Gomoa Broforyeduru, in the Central Region of Ghana. The idea to embark on this project came when he got to know that the entire community does not have a single public toilet facility and none in their homes too. The people in the community resort to nearby bushes as their ‘places-of-convenience’. Alistair Kirk is very hopeful of the success for this project. He believes not only will it correct the practice of using bushes as ‘places-of-convenience’ in the community, but also help to prevent many possible disease outbreaks.
