What to do in Ketchikan Alaska? Hum... I know, 108 Tap House & Burger Bar. What a Burger! The Firehouse Elk Burger. Incredible! It's always fresh and the craft beers are outstanding. My burger as shown comes as double patty. Chicken was also huge! And the onion rings... It's a new business in Ketchikan. It's small and only sits around 50ish. Go early to miss the wait. And the Beer! Smooth and tasty The Salmon Market has been in the same spot right off the dock for 15+ years. The salmon is always fresh. The jerky and the smoked salmon is outstanding. It's a place not to miss. They will also ship so, there is no need to take it with you. I bought the reindeer (elk) jerky. Wow, it was spicy! They have samples for guests to try. My tip, use the crackers they give you. The added salt brings out the flavor of anything you buy. They will also ship your purchase directly to you. I even opened the Salmon Jerky a few months after the cruise. It was wonderful. My tip, just don't be by anyone who does not like fish. The jerky is Salmon. Alaska's Sweet Spot Candy Shop is soooo fudge. It's made with real butter & cream. They make it daily to be shipped off to other stores. So many types to choose from. I bought one of each. Ketchikan is also the place to shop. We have found on our many trips to Alaska this town has the best deals. Jackets for $20/30 dollars? Creek Street has so many shops to explore.
