It has such a beautiful and unique design that would fit perfectly in my very bare apartment dining area. HOWEVER, this lamp is $279 which is way over my budget. So, when I saw the IKEA SIMRISHAMN wall lamp, I knew I could totally DIY it to look like the West Elm lamp for way less. Which is exactly what I did in today’s video! I am not going to lie, I was a bit nervous about this DIY because it does require a bit of wiring (which was a first for me) but this DIY was actually surprisingly easy! In this video you will learn how to DIY this IKEA Wall lamp to look like the West Elm wall sconce, how to wire a lamp and how to attach a new socket to a lamp! This EASY DIY wall sconce is inexpensive and perfect for any space! Adding this wall lamp is a perfect home décor DIY that will add ample lighting to ANY space.
