In order to get a visa on arrival, you need to prepare the following required documents: 1. Passport: Your passport should be valid for at least 6 months from the date of your travel, and have at least 2 blank pages for immigration stamps. Renew your passport if your passport doesn’t meet this requirement. Otherwise, you cannot board the flight. Please also notice that a temporary passport maybe not be accepted. 2. Visa Approval Letter: It is a document (issued and approved by the Vietnam Immigration Department). It functions as an official permission allowing you to board the flight to Vietnam, and get a visa stamped onto the passport upon arrival at any Vietnam international airport. Without the approval letter, you cannot pick up your visa upon arrival. You can apply this on the official website of the immigration department or other private websites which supply the online service. You can find the links to some websites of this kind in our description content. One important thing is that this letter cannot be amended once it is issued, and you are required to apply for a new letter, in case you wish to update your information. so, check your information thoroughly before you submit it. 3. Visa application form: (also known as Vietnam entry and exit form, or Vietnam visa on arrival form). It's a required form for foreigners, who are traveling to Vietnam by air with a visa approval letter, to get the visa on arrival. Fulfill this form before you go so that you can save time for the visa-on-arrival procedure at the arrival airport. You can download this form from the website of your visa-on-arrival service provider. Otherwise, there is a hard copy at the airport for you to do this too. To avoid any hassle at the airport, all details must be correct as in the passport. 4. Photo: Prepare two passport-sized photos (4×6 centimeters or 2×2 inches) taken within the past 6 months. In case, you do not have time to prepare 2 photos in advance, you can get them directly at the photo store of Vietnam airport. It costs around USD 2. But it takes you more time to get out of the custom, so you'd better have everything ready before you go! If you are traveling with children, remember to prepare the photos for them as well. 5. Visa Stamping Fee: Prepare cash to pay for your visa as payment by credit card will not be accepted. 25 USD for a single entry; 50 USD for 1-3 months multiple entries; 95 USD for 6-month multiple entries; 135 USD for 1-year multiple entries.
