Mario has more than 20 years of experience working with animals, and he and Maria brought their passion into a foundation that is dedicated to educating the public about rare and endangered animal species in captivity and in the wild. Today, ZWF is accredited by the Zoological Association of America, and considered one of the top zoos in the U.S., alongside the San Diego Zoo and the Bronx Zoo. Throughout the year, the Zoological Wildlife Foundation hosts many events to raise awareness. We strive to educate people about conservation, education and preservation of exotic wildlife.
