In this video, we commemorate Saint Felix of Nola and Saint Hilary of Poitiers, two heroic saints whose lives offer profound lessons for Catholics today. 🔹 Saint Felix of Nola was a 3rd-century priest who suffered persecution under Emperor Decius. Though imprisoned and nearly executed, he escaped with the help of an angel and continued to care for his exiled bishop. Through divine providence—even a spider’s web—God protected His servants. Though it is unknown whether Saint Felix died a martyr, the Church honors him as one because of his heroic suffering for Christ. 🔹 Saint Hilary of Poitiers, Doctor of the Church and one of the greatest Latin theologians of the 4th century, was a fearless defender of the divinity of Christ against the Arian heresy. Exiled for opposing Emperor Constantius, Hilary used his time in Greece to master Greek theology and later reconcile the Greek East and Latin West through precise theological language.
