Einstein's Entanglement: French's Fallacy

In this video, I explain why Steven French's argument in his review of our book, "Einstein's Entanglement," is fallacious. Besides posing a false dilemma that we clearly dispel in the book, he claims that the invariant qubit should provide the fundamental explanation of quantum entanglement, just like the invariant spacetime interval provides the fundamental explanation of length contraction in special relativity. What I show in this video is that his proposed "structural" explanation of quantum entanglement via the invariant qubit would be like explaining length contraction with the observer-independence of the speed of light c (light postulate) without justifying the light postulate with the relativity principle and Maxwell's equations. In our "principle" explanation, we justify the invariant qubit with the relativity principle, thereby proving the most fundamental explanans is the relativity principle, not the invariant qubit. This also shows that French's proposed structural explanation for quantum mechanics is not as fundamental as our principle explanation per quantum information theory.
