On the final day, while others proudly present tall green plants, Sabelo pours out only soil before the queen. The crowd laughs — until the queen reveals a shocking truth: all the seeds had been boiled and treated so they could never grow. Every man who brought a plant had cheated. Only Sabelo had been honest. Because he alone returned exactly what he was given, he is chosen as king.
