GADA Canada (Genetic Aortic Disorders Association Canada) and the Loeys-Dietz Syndrome Foundation of Canada (LDSF) sponsored the event to bring the most up to date information on the assessment and management of patients with heritable aortic disorders to you. What is the Heritable Aortic Disorders Symposium? Established in 2018 in Toronto, our objective is to provide healthcare professionals as well as patients and their families with the tools needed to ensure early and accurate diagnosis, proper surveillance and medical & surgical treatment. What is GADA Canada? GADA Canada is dedicated to saving lives and enabling a promising future for individuals living with all genetic aortic disorders through awareness, education, support, and research. Identifying the specific genetic cause for aortic dissections can help predict the timing for preventive aortic surgery, further reducing the high morbidity associated with undiagnosed aortic dissections.
