One segment of the highway, the Deadlock Gorge, has been completely abandoned by law-abiding citizens, leaving only the Deadlock Gang, which took advantage of the solitude for illicit weapons trafficking. The gameplay of this map is escorting a carrier for a US military bomb, also known as the payload, to the Deadlock Gang’s cave hideout. The attacking team spawns in a kind of restaurant and needs to escort the payload. The defending team needs prevent the carrier from reaching the Deadlock Gang’s cave hideout. The player's ranking is represented as a Skill Rating between 1 and 5000, with a higher number representing a higher level of skill.
