Sterling Knight is an actor that is well-known for his performances in a handful of Disney Channel movies and shows with his most recognizable to be his portrayal of stuck-up heartthrob, Chad Dylan Cooper, on Sonny with a Chance. I've been meaning to book him on Cameo for a couple years, but it either slipped my mind or he wasn't available so I decided the next time he's around on the app, I would give it a try and it came at a time where Demi Lovato's Revamped album came out and 1989 (Taylor's Version) was on its way. The giddy, silly side of me requested him to regale me about what it was like to work on Sonny with a Chance as well as play an acoustic cover of "New Romantics" because I've seen a couple of Cameos he did where he played his guitar for his fans. My sixteen-year-old self would have been starstruck (no pun intended) had he have anticipated that one day he'd be on speaking terms with a Disney Channel star, though I'm lucky that part of growing up is learning to keep an even head when that chance is within reach. 😅 It took Sterling an extra few days to learn how to play that song, but the effort he put into his cover was worth it. :D #1989taylorsversion #acousticcover #newromantics
