The Blue Loti Collective - Fusion Evolution 2024 Farewell

Fusion Evolution, or Tribal Revolution as it used to be called, has been a bright spot on the belly dance calendar since it began. Through the years this event has welcomed 90 different instructors and hundreds of performers and participants but only three people can rightly claim that they have been at every Fusion Evolution from 2005 to now. Those three people are Audrey Sica, Christina King, and Wendy Pastrick, the OG Blue Loti! These ladies are connected by a friendship bond so strong that even after Audrey moved away to California, she always came back to our Fusion Evolution dance sister family reunion. This event has been a labor of love from the start and the Loti are grateful to to their extended dance family for helping them create something that has meant so much to so many for so long. It has meant a lot to them too. While we will all undoubtedly shed some tears when we part ways, the Loti want to celebrate this ending by going back to their beginning. For this final Fusion Evolution, The Blue Loti Collective have chosen to revive the first choreography they ever created together when they were Blue Lotus Tribe, excited to just be dancing a monthly gig at a tiny Turkish restaurant back in 2001 and having no idea about the impact they would eventually have on the landscape of Midwestern belly dance.
