In this video I'm using the RODE Wireless GO as the external vlogging mic for the Sony ZV-1. The Wireless GO consists of a transmitter and receiver that work digitally on the 2.4GHz frequency range, with the transmitter have a built in omni mic. The built in mic basically turns the transmitter into a lavalier lapel mic. While the term 'best' can be quite subjective, this range of videos 'Best external mic for Sony ZV-1' will give people a very good idea of how a number of RODE microphones sound with the Sony ZV-1. The microphones in this range will include the RODE VideoMicro, RODE VideoMic NTG, RODE VideoMic Pro+, RODE Wireless GO and the RODE Lavalier GO. During these videos I will also give a quick example of the Sony ZV-1 internal mic, this will allow people to guague the difference between the external RODE mics and the ZV-1 internal mic and should also help people to decide if they need an external vlogging mic their Sony ZV-1. While I may use the term best external vlogging microphone for the Sony ZV-1 These mics can off course be used for any kind of audio sound recording or any kind of voice dialogue recording. I'll also include some indoor microphones for use with the Sony ZV1 for typical YouTube video production work. Including a video showing how to connect an XLR microphone to the Sony ZV-1 using phantom power and a microphone pre-amplifier, which will include examples of studio condenser microphones including the RODE NT1A.
