Kayak Fishing UP North! (Surprise catch!!)

After non stop tournaments in the southern heat, it was time for a little road trip for some fun fishing up north. This trip took me to Marquette County Wisconsin, where I got to explore new bodies of water including Lake Puckaway, and both the Fox and Grand rivers. I was chasing trophy pike and smallmouth from the kayak. After fishing the lake for the first half of the day, we decided to do a small river float in between massive storms, and the pre front bite was INSANE. This was one of the most scenic places Ive fished, and the fishing was spectacular- especially once you see what I was catching them on... Huge thank you to Marquette County in Wisconsin for sponsoring such an incredible trip! I will be back!
