Ostensibly, out of the 3 core options presented in game of Knights of the Old republic, for Darth Revan dealing with the second in command of the Sith Academy on Korriban, Redeeming Yuthura & turning her back to the ways jedi on dantooine & the light, seems like a no brainer as the most benevolent of choice the player could make. Especially as she opens up about her slave past, where she had embraced the darkside, in hopes of freeing other slaves & later realizes the errors of her ways. But, before we pass judgment let’s examine all three outcomes to Kill, Spare or Redeem Yuthura & see if your mind changes about redeeming Ban & the potential unforeseen damage it would do.
