Today we'll be reviewing part number V2092SP-25. This is the Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent, the Manual operation. It's in a nice white color. Its also going to come with the interior trim piece. It's got a really neat design on it so it's going to add a lot of style and match the interior of your RV. Let's set that to side for now so we can focus on the actual vent. This roof vent is going to allow fresh air to enter and heat to escape while the trailer or RV remains locked. It's got a simple hand operated crank that's going to rotate to open and close the dome. Also eliminated the need for wiring, so you can see here if I rotate that handle, it's going to open up the lid pretty easily. That's going to allow that fresh air to come in or that heat to escape. Then it's just as easy to close it by rotating the hand of opposite direction. It's got a translucent cover that's going to allow for some light to come through. It's got the aerodynamic, wedge-shaped design that's made of a durable polypropylene material. It's also got the galvanized steel roof flange that won't rust or corrode that goes from the perimeter of the vent. It's also going to feature a snap-out screen, it's going to make it very easy to clean. And again the interior trim piece is included. Please keep in mind that screws and sealer are not included. You can see Installation Kit part number RVIKIT100. That's going to include all your necessary screws and sealer to get the vent installed. The included garnish is going to fit roofs 1-7/8" to 3" in thickness. The garnish leg length or depth is going to measure 2-1/8". That's going to be this portion here. Other garnishes are available and you can check at our website for more options. The cover is going to be in a nice white color. The rough opening size is going to measure 14-1/4" wide x 14-1/4". The vent will extend above the roof, when it's fully closed 4-1/2". When it's fully open, it's going to extend to 10-3/4". To get this installed all you need to do is mark the desired location for your vent. You want to be sure to choose a location between your roof joists. You'll need to cut a 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" opening through the roof and the ceiling or you can use your existing opening if you're just going to use this as a replacement vent. You want to apply the sealant to the bottom of flange and be sure to surround each screw hole with the sealant. Then you just insert the vent through the hole with screen frame extending through the roof cavity and hinge of the vent toward the front of the vehicle. In order to get this to mount, you need to use #8 screws. Then you can also attach the interior garnish piece with #8 screws. The interior garnish piece is just going to have 4 screw locations. One on each corner and then the vent itself has numerous mounting holes that go around the entire perimeter of that flange piece. The garnish is going to go on the inside. This is going to sit above the RV then the garnish is going to be what's seen from inside the RV. That's going to do it for our review of part number V2092SP-25.
