Trying to OverWinter Eucalyptus in Cold Winter Areas

In this video, we go over the steps to try and overwinter eucalyptus in a cold Northern zone. Research has led me to attempt this because in theory, the same specialized roots that allow Eucalyptus to regrow after wildfires, may in fact, be able regrow after a long dormant winter. This is completely unproven and something I am attempting, and would love for others to try as well. Simply cut your plant at ground level and cover with mulch, leaf litter, wood chips, etc to a height of at least 4" and a diameter of at least 18". In both cases, more is always better so if you have plenty, use it!
