Global Workshop: Ontology Commons addressing challenges of the Industry 5.0 transition 2 – 5 November 2021 The #H2020 #OntoCommons project plays a relevant role in the industry 5.0 transition as it addresses the need to strengthen the #interoperability of #industrial solutions through the establishment of common #semantic basis in different domains (e.g. #materials and #manufacturing) that supports the improvements of #digital interactions, collaborations, co-innovation, re-use and valorisation of #data. This #OntoCommons event offers a platform for all stakeholders to interact and exchange information and updates, and contributions to the content of the #OntoCommons Roadmap (#policy recommendations towards #datasharing in the #European Single Market). The workshop combines open, topic-based discussions in organised groups with custom-designed engagement of stakeholders through low-level prototyping of novel use cases and emerging scenarios. 00:00 - Domain Ontology for manufacturing and supply chain - Chaired by Dimitris Kiritsis, EPFL 03:25 - Ontology engineering for Industrial Maintenance - Melinda Hodkiewicz, University of Western Australia 17:18 - Systems Engineering as the foundation for industrial domain ontologies - Jinzhi Lu, EPFL 29:27 - Ontology engineering for supply chain, procurement, and logistics - Farhad Ameri, Texas State University 42:51 - Q&A and discussion
