モロッコにて令和３年11 月26 日に開催された第72 回国際かんがい排水委員会理事会で「宇佐のかんがい用水群（平田井路・広瀬井路）」が世界かんがい施設遺産に登録されました。市と宇佐土地改良区が共同で申請したもので、国内では44 番目、大分県内では初の登録となります。国際機関での登録認定となり、今までの施設の保全だけでなく、地域振興や情報発信に役立てていきます。 On November 26, 2022, the Usa Irrigation system (Hirata Irrigation System & Hirose Irrigation System) was registered and certified as a World Heritage Irrigation Structure at the International Commission on Irrigation & Drainage’s 72nd International Executive Council (IEC) meeting, held in Marrakesh, Morocco. In the future, while continuing to verify the two irrigation systems, we will actively engage in local activities and utilize and develop them as tourism resources and educational resources. ※宇佐宮神領大鏡 うさぐうしんりょうおおかがみ (*)Usa Jingu Okagami 国宝・重要文化財(美術品) National Treasure / Important Cultural Property (artwork) 鎌倉時代前期に編纂された宇佐神宮の神領記録で、神領の構成ならびにその発展の跡を伝えた根本史料として名高い。 This is a record of the domain of the Usa Jingu Shrine compiled in the early Kamakura period.
