Thanks to www.cowansim.com without your R66 Microsoft flight simulator 2020, I wouldn't have been able to hover on the first lesson (at night!). You saved me at least $6,000 during real life training. First solo, about 28 hrs in the R44, solo not required by 141 commercial add-on syllabus, just did it for fun. It was HOT day. When my instructor is aboard, I do things a lot faster than the video, I purposefully slowed things extremely down since I was solo. The takeoff profile and pattern are mandatory per letter of agreement with KTIX tower. For taking off when runway 9 ops are in effect, you enter a hover then zig zag a little to overfly the taxiway. First pattern, a little high and a little fast. Last touch down a little rough. We don't park in the middle of the circle as to allow the next student to be able to walk around the tail and not have to go on the ditch to inspect tail.
