Having just recently moved to this new town with your family, you're struggling to find your way home. Twist and turns through the streets lead you to unfamiliar areas. "Why couldn't our parents just move to the suburbs?" You think to yourself as you try to find the lone path that leads you home. As the trees get thicker, you notice the sound of trick-or-treating children become faint distant noise in the background. Finally, you see a faint orange glow - a house. Most likely yours. You turn onto the path and into the darkness of the trees, guided by the light at the end. As you get closer to the house, the fog begins to thicken. All around, you can hear the symphony of the nightly creatures calling out to each other, but your ears start to pick up on sounds that send shivers down your spine. You feel your heart sink as you realize where you are. The infamous house that you've heard your classmates talk about - the one no one dares to go near. You want to turn away and run back the way you came, but your eyes meet a dummy "sitting" on the front porch. You try to look away, but something about its eyes keeps your gaze. And then, its lips curl into a smile.
