I am simply your servant running behind you shouting, "Krsna! Krsna!" HG Mukunda Datta Dasa is an initiated disciple of His Divine grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada , the founder acarya of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). He joined ISKCON 40+ years ago, deeply impressed by the comprehensive, authentic, and nectarean presentation of the science of Krishna-bhakti (love of God), as clearly explained in the many books by Srila Prabhupada. Noted for his kirtana (devotional singing), He has received formal training in North Indian classical music, sings and plays instruments in traditional Bengali style of kirtana, and has made several recordings of the Gaudiya Vaishnava traditions Sanskrit and vernacular hymns. Currently he serves as a Sanskrit/English translator and editor for the Bhaktivedanta Book Trust (BBT). Also a scholar of Sanskrit, Hindi, and other Indic languages, he served as a member of Shastric Advisory Council to the ISKCON Governing Body Commission.
