Nottingham Riverside Festival, Victoria Embankment, Friday August 2nd to Sunday August 4th 2024 Unfortunately, this year’s Riverside Festival, appears to just be like a mini fairground with around 10 adult fairground rides, at the time of my visit. Join me as I take a look around. According to BBC online, https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c..., Fireworks have been scrapped and there will be NO MUSIC STAGES, to name just a couple of cancellations. Such a shame. The annual event, run by the Nottingham Labour City Council Ltd has been going since 1973. The MUSIC STAGES were the highlight for most adults that I know of who visited the event. Not only this, but it gave the opportunity for both up-and-coming artists, and established musicians to showcase their talents.
