2021 LDV T60 MAXUS Ute [Owner's Review] 2 Month First Impression: Incremental Upgrades & Addons?

In this video I'll share my latest review and deep thoughts about the 2021 LDV Ute MAXUS 2021 model. My previous review can be seen here:    • LDV T60 UTE [Owner's Review] - Thoughts Af...   Here's what I noticed using this car: ✅ Updated LDV Ute T60 MAXUS 2021 first impressions. My overall impression? Very good! ✅ The new 2021 T60 comes in a base and luxury model. I've got the base model. Luxury model has nicer seats, electric adjustments, heating, sports bar, and more. Luxury version costs $3-4K NZD, so ~2-3K USD more than base model. ✅ Both manual and automatic transmissions. I've tested automatic ✅ 2.8 liter turbo diesel engine translating to 110 kW @ 360nm. Power is lower but it's plenty for my goals. ✅ Switch ability between 4-wheel drive high, low, and 2-wheel drive. ✅ Modern safety features included: ABS, EBS, EBA, traction control, stability control, driver and passenger airbags, side-airbags, full-length curtain airbags, 5-star ANCAP safety rating. These features made me buy the 2017 model. ✅ 1,188 liter tray. More on the tray later. No big changes from an outside perspective but once you get up into the tray you see the difference. The downside is that the horizontal metal at the back of the tray, holding it up, is likely to scratch with more "aggressive" use. Just using some firewood I took some paint off. ✅ 5-year and or 150K warranty. ✅ $31-32K NZD price, which translates to $21-22 USD at late July 2021, for the base manual model. Feb 2021 I paid $42K NZD, or ~29K USD, for extra features such as installed toebar and more. ✅ Expect to wait some time until you can pick up a new model! ✅ New grill at the front compared to the older model. Black. ✅ New suspension My views about the upsides and downsides. First, upsides: ✅ Great value and I'll recommend this product and I get a lot of value of it ✅ Extra options help you make a personal choice ✅ Model looks SLIGHTLY better than the previous one ✅ Tray is big enough if you're working on a personal farm. The tray is big enough to get all the daily farm stuff done. HOWEVER, the tray doesn't contain the curved angles of the past model so you get a lot more value out of the same space. ✅ The suspension is much better than the old model. HUGE improvement. Distance from wheel to frame is better protected in this model. ✅ Inside model unchanged. Same message in the downsides ✅ Software and airconditioning have become remarkably better with the new model ✅ Radio reception dramatically improved from the old model. New model is amazing, even in rural areas. Then, downsides: ✖ Utes are relatively new. I chose this new model because of the warranty deadline coming up. I had some issues with the older model. In the past, the frame would bounce too much compared to the car. Right now, the movement is excessively rigid. ✖ Inside model unchanged! Same message as upsides!
