Is it possible to visit Iceland on a budget? Jools and I flew to Iceland for an extreme day trip with just 7 hours on the ground to explore one of the most expensive countries in the world. Landing at Keflavík Airport, we quickly realised something shocking… it’s not actually in Reykjavík 😬 So after jumping on the bus into the city, we set out to see how much we could experience in just one day. From exploring Reykjavík’s colourful streets to hunting down affordable food, cheap beer and iconic sights, this trip was all about proving that Iceland doesn’t have to cost a fortune. We even went in search of one of Iceland’s most infamous local delicacies… fermented shark 🦈🤢 So was Iceland worth it on a tight budget? And can you really experience it properly in a single day?
