The Absurdity Of Post Christian Logic

Have a you ever felt nostalgic about the past? I certainly have. I often find myself thinking about my childhood in Romania, which I associate with fun with my grandfather and enjoying my grandmother's cooking. As an adult I have come to realize that nostalgia is idealization of the past. While I did enjoy my childhood, there was an economic and political reality which made life very difficult for my parents; which then lead them to move to Canada. Similarly, in Exodus 16:1-3 we see the Israelites becoming nostalgic about being in bondage. They had a narrow vision of freedom. They reminisced about the food and shelter they were provided by their Egyptian captors, while ignoring the fact that they were enslaved. They began to value comfort over freedom. In the West, we have fallen into a similar trap. I explore how this is the case in this video.
