Lahontan Audubon Society will present the Online Birding Guide, a resource that provides birders with information on the local birding hotspots where they can practice their birding and sketching skills! Christine Elder returns to teach us the value of creating field gestures. Quick field gestures provide a way to record a posture, identification mark, behavior, or other interesting features that can build our own personal nature knowledge. Sketching helps build the memory more than a quick photograph and is an important learning tool used by many researchers in the field.
