Upwind through the channel at Lake Pier. This was the second half of the session as earlier I had had some short board sailing too, although in line with recent conditions it was 'on and off' and not consistent. Nice day for the sailing- as you get towards the top of the channel the reaches get narrower as there are lots of areas to the sides that are too shallow to sail. The daggerboard retracting itself as it hits the mud acts as a good 'early warning' before the old fin grounds too. I have bought some more secondhand sails this week although as luck would have it, their acquisition has not timed in with winds where I can try any of them yet, hopefully soon.
