🛡️ EP. 2 — THE WARDEN'S TRIAL is now LIVE! This is a cinematic, modded Dragon Age: Origins playthrough as a Male Human Noble Rogue — the Shadow Archer. Every choice, every betrayal, every battle shapes the fate of Ferelden. ⚔️ FULL CHRONICLED PLAYLIST: https://tinyurl.com/GWPLive ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ With Highever burning behind him and the Cousland name resting on his shoulders alone, Arryn Cousland arrives at the fortress of Ostagar carrying nothing but grief, a bow, and Duncan's promise of purpose. The Grey Wardens offer survival—but the price is blood, visions, and an oath that binds deeper than any noble house ever could. 🏰 ARRIVAL AT OSTAGAR — ANCIENT PROPHECIES Arryn reaches Ostagar, where King Cailan Theirin prepares for what he believes will be a glorious, decisive victory against the darkspawn horde. The mood is split: Cailan's naive confidence clashes with veterans' grim warnings of the rising Fifth Blight. Duncan introduces Arryn to the Wardens' camp, where he meets Alistair—a templar-trained warrior with unexpected humor and loyalty whose easygoing demeanor masks the weight he carries as one of the last Grey Wardens in Ferelden. Alistair becomes Arryn's anchor in a world that has stripped everything else away. 🌫️ THE KORCARI WILDS — CORRUPTION & POWER Duncan sends Arryn and Alistair into the Korcari Wilds to retrieve ancient Grey Warden treaties and gather darkspawn blood for the Joining ritual. The Wilds are a twisted landscape where the Veil grows thin and corruption seeps into the earth. Arryn's stealth-archer build shines here: silent movement through fog, precision shots from the shadows, calculated ambushes on darkspawn patrols. In the ruins, they encounter Morrigan, a sharp-tongued apostate mage raised in the Wilds by the mysterious Flemeth. When an ogre's rage nearly kills them, Flemeth intervenes—ancient, powerful, and unsettling. The treaties are secured, the blood is gathered. The path to the Joining is open. 🩸 THE JOINING RITUAL — SACRIFICE Back at Ostagar, Duncan conducts the ancient Grey Warden rite beneath flickering torchlight. Arryn drinks from the chalice of darkspawn blood—a poison that will either kill him or bind him to the Wardens forever. The world goes dark. He is haunted by visions: the Archdemon's roar, a tide of corruption sweeping across Ferelden, the desperate faces of those who will fall if the Blight is not stopped. When Arryn wakes, he is no longer just a noble's son. He is a Grey Warden, bound by blood and duty to stand against the darkspawn no matter the cost. Not all who drank survived—one recruit lies dead, a grim reminder that the Joining demands sacrifice. ⚔️ THE BATTLE OF OSTAGAR — THE GREAT BETRAYAL The night of battle arrives. King Cailan leads the charge while Arryn, Alistair, and a small team ascend the Tower of Ishal to light the signal beacon that will call Loghain's forces to flank the horde. The tower is overrun. Arryn fights through wave after wave of hurlocks, genlocks, and shrieks, his arrows finding throats in the chaos as Alistair holds the line. They reach the top. The beacon is lit. But Teyrn Loghain Mac Tir does not come. From the tower's height, Arryn watches in horror as Loghain orders a retreat, abandoning King Cailan and the Grey Wardens to die. The king falls. Duncan falls. The darkspawn swarm the tower. 🐉 SALVATION IN FLAME — A WARDEN RISES In the final moments before death, as darkspawn close in and the tower crumbles, a dragon's roar tears through the night sky. Flemeth arrives in her true form—ancient and terrible—and sweeps Arryn and Alistair from the jaws of death. They wake in Flemeth's hut deep in the Wilds, the sole survivors of Ostagar's massacre. Morrigan is ordered by her mother to join them, bound by Flemeth's command. The truth is clear: Ferelden has fallen not only to the Blight, but to the treachery of men. Loghain has seized power, branded the Wardens traitors, and left the kingdom defenseless. Arryn Cousland—orphaned twice, once by Howe and once by Loghain—must now walk the hard road of vengeance, duty, and survival. A new Warden rises… and the hunt begins. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🛡️ SUPPORT THE WARDENS 🛡️ 🎮 Live every Wednesday 5am PST: YouTube: / @sevyrgaming Kick: https://kick.com/therealsevyrgaming Twitch: / sevyrgaming TikTok: / sevyrgaming 🔥 Patreon: / sevyrgaming 👕 Merch: https://sevyrgaming-shop.fourthwall.com 💸 Tip: https://streamelements.com/sevyrgamin... ⚔️ Discord: / discord ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🧬 SERIES FEATURES • Cinematic storytelling & Live RP • Companion arcs & consequence • Deep lore & modded immersion 💬 LORE QUESTION: If the Joining kills as often as it saves, and conscription strips away choice in the name of duty—are the Grey Wardens heroes, or simply necessary monsters fighting a darker evil?
