In this episode of Copenhagen Walks we invite you to explore the Kaktus Towers designed by Bjarke Ingels Group BIG - semi-furnished rental apartments with shared amenities such as dining hall, social kitchen, work areas, laundry, lounge, library room and fitness spaces. We will visit each of 2 typologies of apartments which are presented in the buildings. The towers stand on an elevated plateau with a public park on the top. The plateau is also a part of the innovative IKEA city store opened in 2023 and designed by Dorte Mandrup. It contains 250 trees, 1450 sqm of solar panels, and parking for 760+ bikes.
