Why I moved to Melbourne

I knew moving wouldn't be easy, but I never realised it was going to be this hard either. This is the literal day-to-day vlog of how our move to the food capital of Australia went for us this week. Did we break a few tables? Yes. Was there copious plates of Hainanese chicken rice consumed in the process? Also yes. But one week in, and we're finally feeling a little settled. Many people have questioned our move - less so to Melbourne specifically but away from Christchurch. And the answer could be as long or as short as you'd like. In a nutshell, this is less so 'leaving' and more so 'expanding'. Our goal is to equip and release the New Zealand team to continue telling meaningful stories about people in hospitality whilst we grow our social impact in Melbourne even more this year. With several trips back to home base in the big 03 scheduled for April and May alone, you may hardly know I even left! We can't wait to hit the ground running (as you may have already seen on our IG stories) and reach as many people in hospo as possible this year in Melbourne.
