Barra do Kwanza is an urban district and commune located in Luanda Province, belonging to the municipality of Belas, Angola. In Barra do Kwanza is the mouth of the Kwanza, where the Kwanza River, the largest Angolan river, has its downstream in the Atlantic Ocean, 75 km south of Luanda. One of the geographical references of the province of Luanda, the city of Barra do Cuanza is an ideal place for sport fishing, with hotels, restaurants and other infrastructures for leisure. This point, in a setting of great natural beauty, with deserted river and sea beaches, marks one of the entrances to the Quissama National Park.
