Experimenting With Zach in Classic - February 2026 (Replays + Decklist)

This is my experiment with Zach, I know this deck is far from optimal, and I can't recommend it yet, cause from what I see, some of the new cards are needed in this deck, like Vengeful Brethren. IMO you can't be too greedy with teleport troops on Zach's deck cause u are not Azrael and don't have access to a more reliable ass pull. In my deck, I only incorporate 3-4 teleport troops with strong effects. I also found this WL can somehow be more reliable in drawing secrets more than Azrael, but you kinda need the help of Wages of Retribution for the secret department. While playing this deck, I feel the weakest when in mid-game when i cant deploy a sticking troop, but instead must play flankers after flankers. I lose tempo and let my opponent take the initiative easily most of the time. So far i also find I have a higher win rate if I go full agro and keep bashing & healing with WL's talent. His talent can make you go pretty long, and his talent can also be used as a control tool. Best opening is Sergeant Taaman at 2e, librarian or wages at 3e, and the stealth knight guy at 4e.
