So happy to be releasing this footage that Brock created. This idea, though born out of a specific need, was such a special day to take part in. A mystery rooftop performance on a sunny, late-fall day. This was the first time I'd attempted to put together a show like this and with the help of my longtime friend and collaborator Greg Curtis we were able to make it happen. On November 6th, 2021 We performed a concert from a downtown Calgary rooftop. Speakers were placed on several rooftops to create the feeling that the music was being projected all over Calgary's downtown. One couldn't discern which rooftop we were on - The sound had a natural energy and reverb through the downtown core. At the time our city and country (and the world) were going through waves of reopening and closure in many industries due to COVID. We thought an almost pirate broadcast emanating from the city's core would be a cool way to bring a concert back reliably at that time.
