Marshall SV20H: Real Thing vs Fractal Model. Fender American Ultra Luxe Vintage '60s Strat HSS

If you've ever wondered how accurate the Fractal Audio modelling is compared to the real thing, here's an attempt by me at demonstrating the same. One of my all-time favourite amps is the Marshall Amplification SV20H which is essentially a 20W version of their classic SLP1959. The Axe-FX III (and FM9 and FM3) has a highly accurate model of this amp so I've made a little A/B comparison using the Fractal Audio X-LOAD Reactive Load box and some handy routing utilities in the Axe-FX III. Fractal Audio use 'component modelling', not 'capturing' or 'profile' modelling like much of the competition. This, in my opinion, makes each and every model FAR more flexible and versatile for those of us who like to tweak. For those that don't, there's zero need to touch any of the 200+ amp block parameters on tap if you don't want to. But it's nice to have the choice. The guitar is a 2025 Fender American Ultra Luxe '60s Vintage Stratocaster HSS which I'm quite attached to. It and a couple of other models from that series will be accompanying me through the next year's touring season, as will the mighty @fractalaudiosystems FM9.
