They were still biting the blade bait a week to the day later and the winter bass fishing was on fire!!! I caught so many cold winter bass you won't see half the fish I brought to the boat! The water temperature was still at 40 degrees and this time some bigger bass joined the party along with a couple of slab crappies for the pan. This February has been one of the warmest on record and the winter bass fishing has been great with no ice to be found! I might dedicate another trip to go crappie fishing exclusively.
