The robots declare their mission to conquer the world and march toward the city, leaving the Minions scrambling to stop them before Gru returns. The Minions’ first plan, using bananas to distract the robots, fails since robots don’t eat. Their second plan, dressing up as robots and using a magnet, backfires hilariously. Things look hopeless until Bob offers his teddy bear, Tim, to a small robot. The robot becomes fascinated with the toy, and Kevin realizes that kindness might be the key to stopping them. The Minions quickly distribute Gru’s toy collection to the robots, distracting them from their mission. Even General Clank softens when Kevin offers him a stuffed unicorn. The robot army decides they no longer want to conquer the world and instead dreams of opening a toy shop. When Gru returns to find his lab filled with playful robots and toys, he’s exasperated but relieved. The Minions grin innocently, offering him a banana.
