This is a case of disseminated choroid plexus papilloma in a 32-year-old female who previously underwent resection a fourth ventricular choroid plexus papilloma. There are numerous T1-slightly hypointense lesions in the fourth ventricle, foramen of Magendie, and cisterna magna, with frond-like margins. There is an additional extra-axial dural based lesion arising along the medial aspect of the floor of the right middle cranial fossa. The lesions avidly enhance, and there is increased blood volume in the mass arising from the floor of the right middle cranial fossa. Choroid plexus papillomas are uncommon, benign neuroepithelial intraventricular tumors which occur more commonly in children than adults. They are more common than choroid plexus carcinoma, by up to 5:1. Up to 85% of lesions occur in patients less than 5 years of age. In adults, choroid plexus papilloma occur more commonly in the 4th ventricle. In children, the lateral ventricles are more commonly involved. NMR233 For more, visit our website at http://ctisus.com
